On number #1. I've tried 6 - 720p MKV movies I have.

I opened MediaInfo on each of six files t hat have two or more audio tracks and output to text files their stats. Then rep orted what DivX Converter 9 does with each when using the Home Theatre output fo rmat. All MKV files were originally converted from BD by various unknown methods . I still have DivX Converter version 8 on another computer, and it converts eac h of these correctly, albeit slower. Movie #1: MediaInfo: video type= AVC, size= 1280x536, audio= 2-DTS/AC-3 DivX-Cnvt-9: video size= 720x540 (sb: x302), audio= 1-AC3 (2-MP3 if passthrough unchecked) Movie #2: MediaInfo: video type=AVC, size= 1280x548, audio= 2-DTS/AAC DivX-Cnvt-9: video size= 720x540 (sb: x308), audio= 1-MP3 (still 1-MP3 if passth rough unchecked) Movie #3: MediaInfo: video type= AVC, size= 1280x544, audio= 2-AC-3/AC-3 DivX-Cnvt-9: video size= 720x540 (sb: x306), audio= 2-AC3/AC3 (Got it right. Bot h become MP3 if passthrough unchecked) Movie #4: MediaInfo: video type= AVC, size= 1280x534, audio= 2-DTS/Vorbis DivX-Cnvt-9: video size= 720x300 (correct), audio= 2-MP3/MP3 (got two, but MP3.
