    There were three distinct periods which governed Spain at that particular time in history. One period that is missing is the Almoravid per iod. Which was primarily controlled by the Senegal Africans (Timbuktu)south of the Sahara. Also, many people are using t he word Moor and Arab interchangeably. Whereas an Arab was an Arab and a Moor was Black person, Chris tianized, Jew or Islamic convert.

    I find this post slightly interesting.

    Though I have found out there were three distinct periods which governed Spain at that particular time in history. One period that is missing is the Almoravid per iod. Which was primarily controlled by the Senegal Africans (Timbuktu)- South of the Sahara. Also , many people are using t he word Moor and Arab interchangeably.
