January 15, 2013 To Whom It May Concern: This letter is my personal recommendation for Jessica Tentinger. I have worked with Jessica as a fellow math instructor for two years. I have had the opportunity to work with her on curriculum, professional development, and as a co-teacher for a course. Jessica has helped create lesson plans to include technology and encourage active learning, as well as, meeting the criteria for the Iowa Core Standards. I have enjoyed working with her to improve the learning and understanding of the students. During the two years I have worked with Jessica there has been improvement on Iowa Assessment scores. Jessica is willing to work with fellow teachers to improve student achievement and takes the extra time with students to ensure they are receiving any extra help they may need.
