250g red lentils 3 cloves of garlic 1/2 tsp turmeric 1 1/2 tsp madras curry powder 1/2 tsp

salt curry leaves coconut milk 1 tomato wash lentils in cold water place 1 part lentils to 1 1/2 parts water in saucepan add chopped garlic, tomatoes, spices bring to boil boil for 2-5 mins add coconut milk (1/2 to 2/3 tin) cover then let sit for 15-30 mins
