But Transcend had more sale than Moserbear. So to improve its sales moserbear decreased its price from 250 to around 180rs. Seeing this Transcend also improved the quality but didnt change the price. They increased the storage capacity to 4GB. Thus they increased their quality in response to the decrease in price by Moserbear.

Cqp : Example: Rin vs Tide Rin and tide are the great rivals of each other from starting only. When tide came initialy the prices were same. But Rin increased its quality by putting some extra whitening capacity. Tides market began to go down so they responded by decreasing their price fairly. Detergent of rin of 20gms is of 10rs now while that of tide is rs 5.

Caq : Example:Lays vs Balaji Lays was ruling the market for fair bit of time. But as soon as balaji came into the market, the sales of Lays decreased. So In response to this Lays made new flavours and Advertised them regularly including famous cricketers like Chris Gayle, Adam Gilchrist etc. Balaji has kept the price same but just increased its quality by adding some more taste to their wafers importantly making it more crunchy and spicy.

Cpp : Example: Navneet vs Classmate Navneet came before classmate and had a nominal rate of around 19rs for 200 pages book.Then classmate notebooks came in the market and gave a strong reply to Navneets monopoly.As their demand increased, the rates of classmate notebook became high from 21rs to 29rs. Seeing this Navneet also wanted to make more profit so they also increased price from 19rs to 27rs.

Caa: Example: Sunfeast vs Hide and Seek Both the brands of biscuits had a great competition. So Sunfeast thought of bringing any superstar in their advertisements. So they included Shah Rukh Khan. Seeing this Hide and Seek also brought Hrithik Roshan for their marketing. So both the companies improved their advertisements to increase their sales.
