It is also known as Scorpius. Its long curving tail trails to south. It can be seen in the southern sky from June to August.

Light is a form of energy. We need light to see things around us. A light source is an object that gives off light of its own. Light travels at a fast speed of almost 300 000 km/s. Light travels in a straight line in all directions.
