'The students never hesitated to approach him with a question or concern. He became a working member of the 4th grade teaching team and participated fully in discussions and planning. Cameron was always willing to go above and beyond the expectations of a student teacher. He never wanted to 'just get by' . Cameron excels in classroom management. He has clear and high expectations. He is calm and consistent in dealing with the students. The effects of his management style could be seen from group work to independent work time. Enthusiasm to teach shines through Cameron. Communication skills also set Cameron apart. He uses a variety of strategies to garner the students' attention. He uses a soft voice, strong voice, rhythmic hand clapping, silent signals, etc. He employs innovative and creative ways to make difficult concepts easier to understand. He monitors and adjusts when he senses it is needed. Cameron immersed himself in the school community. He volunteered to judge the District Spelling Bee on several occasions. He volunteered on a Sunday to work at the Bothwell Basketball Fundraiser. He didn't hesitate to be a part of the faculty act for the Talent Show. I am confident that Cameron will have a bright future in education. He will be an asset to any school that he teaches in. . Sincerely, Shirley Menhennick
