Huarhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan 430074, China ) Abstract; The research of the axial thrust is very important to the running of hydroelectric generating sets and the thrust bearing design, This peper is based on prototype test of axial thrust for No.3 unit of Three Gorges Left Bank Hydropower Station, presents the cheracteristics of the axial thrust under load variation conditions. It also compares the experimental results with the predicting numerical data in order to provide valuable experience for design and maintenance of similar large sets, Key words; Three Gorges Hydropower Station; axial thrust; prototype tests load variation, stability Study on large Francis turbine stability and its countermeasures ZHOU Hao ( Wojiangdu Hydropower Plant, Zunyi 563100, China ) Abstract; Francis turbines are widely used in large hydropower projects for their uncomplicated structures wide range of water head and mature fabricating technique. Because Francis turbine is of fixed blades» the problems of running stability and blade crack are threatening the safety in operation. This paper analyzes the cause of affecting Francis turbine stability and presents the countermeasures of improving the running stability of the units Key words; Francis turbines stability: eddy zones cracks countermeasures Cause analysis on rotating part lifting of Unit 2 in Tianhuangping Pumped Storage Plant LE Zhen-chun, KONG Ling-hua ( Tinhuangping Pumped Storage Plant, Anji 313302, China ) Abstract; Rotating port lifted up while loading 200 MW up to 300 MW for Unit 2 of Tianbuangping Pumped Storage Plant. Thus the inner finges of the upper labyrinth ring were damaged. This paper de seribes the process of the lifting, check and test of Unit 2, analyzes the cause of the accidental lift. Fur- thermore, some suggestions about design, debugging and operation of pumped storage units are given in order to prevent the accidental lift. Key words, pumped storeye units; liftings water thrust forees cause analysisy preventative suggestion ‘Over-voltage protection design for information system of Suofengying Hydropower Station ZHAO Yong-qiang!, WANG Zhow-an* (1. Wajiang Hydropower Development Co. » Ltd. Guiyang 550215, Chinas 2, Middle South Hydroelectric Investigation Design and Research Institutes Changsha 410014, China > Abstract; Over-voltage protection design for information system of « hydropower station, which is also called equilibrium voltage grounding system, may be summarized as follows; shared grounding equilibri um voltage, stressing current branch, grounding shield and voltage segregation, In accordance with above, the scheme of over-voltage protection design for Suofengying Hydropower Station was proposed. Key words; information system; over-voltages protection designs Suofengying Hydropower Station, Discussion on fabrication cost management of project amount inventory pricing DING Yu Beijing Municipal Institute of Hydraulic Engineering Planning, Design & Research, Beijing 100048, China ) Abstract; The project amount inventory valuation is a new kind of pricing method to meet the needs of the project fabrication cost reformation. Compared with traditional pricing method it has obvious advantages such as more rational, more accurate and more effective. In order to adapt to international economic system 4s soon as possible, it is Important to do well the management work of the project amount inventory valua Key words; project amount inventory; valuations fabrication cost manegement
