GIRL GUIDES AND GIRL SCOUTS OF MADAGASCAR

MPANAZAVA ETO MADAGASIKARA (PROTESTANT GIRL SCOUTS ASSOCIATION)

Their mission is to allow young girls to bloom. There are three levels of Guides: Voronkely (Brownies 6-12 years old); Mpanazava (Guides, 12-16 years old); and Afo (Rangers, 16 years and older) . There are only 15,000 Guides left in all the island (22 areas). Our promise "I promise that I will do my best: to do my duty to God, to serve my country and my family; to help other people; and to keep the Guide Law."

FANILO'I MADAGASIKARA (CATHOLIC GIRL GUIDES ASSOCIATION)

It is also called FIM or FANILO. This group educates girls six and up. This group started in 1942. They go camping, volunteer, explore, etc.

KIADINI MADAGASIKARA (LAIC GIRL GUIDES ASSOCIATION)

This group is non-religious. This group also admits boys. Kiadinis start at seven and up.
