Crime Scene Investigation

Thomas Hemingway and Dominic Standing 9 set 1

Introduction

Our enquiry is going to be about local schools, in the wards of Blackpool, and the Fylde. We want to find out if the areas around the schools, and themselves, have higher rates of crime in the holidays. We think this will happen because there will be more children free to do what they like, whereas if they are at school, they are constantly being watched by others. Also, in the holidays many are up late, contributing to anti-social behaviour and vandalism.

Hypothesis
Our

hypothesis is that there will be more crime in the wards of Blackpool and The Fylde in the school holidays. of our hypothesis is that there will be more crime around St. Marys in Blackpool than St. Bedes in Lytham.
