.HISTORIA DEL GRUPO: The Rasmus es una banda de rock alternativo que se
formó en la ciudad de Helsinki en 1994 cuando sus integrantes Eero Heinonen (bajo), Pauli Rantasalmi
(guitarras), Lauri Ylonen (voz y teclado) yJanne Heiskanen (batería) y un invitado especial (skacer
guitarrista y corista) tocaban para una audiencia en su escuela, en un concierto de navidad.

Fueron inicialmente conocidos como Rasmus simplemente (de las palabras

"TrashMosh", aunque afirman que fue porque era corto y fácil de recordar),
aunque antes tuvieron otros nombres como Sputnik y Antilla.

En sus inicios el estilo musical del grupo incorporaba distintos géneros tales como
el funk, pop y reggae. Grabaron su primer sencillo 1st, lanzado de manera
independiente con Teja G. Records en 1995. Después firmaron con warner music
Finland para lanzar su primer disco, Peep cuando los miembros tenían apenas 16
años. Peep se convirtió en disco de oro y la banda toco más de 100 conciertos en
Finlandia y Estonia Rasmus se convirtió en The Rasmus en 2000, ya que querían
evitar confusiones con un artista sueco conocido como DJ Rasmus. Firmaron con
los estudios Universal, ya que su antigua disquera quería que cantaran en
finlandés, cosa que no les agradó.

Durante 2006 el grupo realizó numerosas giras por todo el mundo, en las que se
incluyen visitas a España, Alemania, Sudáfrica, Estados Unidos y a varios países
de América Latina (México, Argentina, Brasil, y Chile entre otros). El 28 de abril de
ese año fueron ganadores de los ESKA Music Awards de Polonia, en la categoría
de Mejor Artista Rock Internacional. El 10 de octubre lanzaron la edición de Hide
from The sun para los Estados Unidos, en donde se incluyen algunas canciones
extra como mis ojos y Dancer in the dark, además del video para Inmortal.

A mediados de agosto de 2008 la banda lanzó el primer videoclip promonocional

de Black Roses, meses antes de que este saliera a la venta. El primer corte es
llamado Livin' in a World Without You, y el video promocional fue grabado en
Estocolmo a comienzos de julio del mismo año. Semanas antes del lanzamiento
del nuevo álbum la banda anunció la intención de lanzar el temaJustify como el
segundo sencillo del disco. El video de este se estrenó a principios de Diciembre
de 2008, y el sencillo salió a la venta el 19 de Enero.

.MI OPINIÓN: Bueno, esta canción es una de mis preferidas, ya que no son
como otras de este mismo género, que escriben en ellas cualquier cosa que se les
viene a la cabeza, este cantante, aunque tenga un aspecto poco común y unos
peinados sobrenaturales, me gusta el entusiasmo con el que canta sus canciones,
que permite al oyente meterse en un mundo de fantasías en el cual tu eres el
protagonista.

a-ESTRIBILLO:
.Intenta expresar que hay esperanzas de vivir sin un amor que te ha hecho mucho
daño en tu vida, pero que por desgracia, no consigues olvidar.
