1920s Artwork Project

Historical Context: During the 1920s various push and pull factors caused many African Americans to move north in the Great Migration. Task: Using the information from your class notes from the 1920s Unit to complete a piece of artwork on the card stock paper you were given. Complete an essay that describes your artwork Your artwork should include Two push factors, or two pull factors, or one push and one pull factor that caused African Americans to go North Artwork must be in color Each push factor and pull factor should be labeled on your artwork An essay should accompany this artwork that explains the push/pull factors and the overall meaning of your artwork

Guidelines: In your essay, be sure to Develop all aspects of the task Incorporate information from our class notes on the Great Migration Support the theme with relevant facts, examples, and details Use a logical and clear plan of organization, including an introduction and conclusion that are beyond a restatement of the theme
