Reference Section Evaluation and Order: The reference (REF) section is comprised of 241 items which is 2.

01% of the media centers total collection. The average age is 1991 making this section 22 years old. This age was fairly old which is a typical problem in media centers because of budget cuts. Reference material are fairly expensive and information in this category can change frequently. With the availablity of online databases, more and more media centers are not updating their reference sections often because they just do not have the funds to do so. I decided to concentrate my order on science since this seemed to be a need in our media center overall, especially in the reference section. The following is an order I created in priority order with a budge of $1000. The order was created in Titlewave by Follett. 1. We decided to try out an ebook since our school is going completely wireless next year and piloting bring your own device in some classrooms. We would let some groups use ebooks to research and see how often they get used and if it was worth it.
