LEVEL OVERVIEW Knowledge of modern test methodologies, Demonstrates the ability to analyze a problem and complete detailed reports. Able to methodically produce the steps which exhibit bugs in the product and be able to reproduce and communicate these steps. Shows initiative in gaining in-depth experience in areas of technology relevant to testing of company products. Shows initiative in gaining theoretical knowledge in software testing. Works well in a team environment and alone. Has ability to adapt to the changing needs of a project and ability to meet deadlines. Requires a Bachelors degree and 3-4 years of progressive experience in Quality analyst/Software Testing using specialized Tools (QTP) or any combination of pertinent education and experience.

PRINCIPAL Performs specialized programming tasks requiring a high degree of technical proficiency in specialized areas. Prepares customer user manuals and training materials. Participates in user training and provides advice on operational issues.

SPECIFIC JD TO THE POSITION Job Responsibilities Requirement gathering of application under test System & Integration testing Design & execution of Test cases Defect Management Activity - Defect Logging & Defect tracking. Creation of Automation Script using QTP Skills Experience or Knowledge on various Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle. Minimum 3 years of experience in Automation Testing using QTP for windows and web-based applications. Vast experience in manual testing and defect tracking using HP Quality Center. Analyzing requirements, writing and executing test cases for Regression and System testing with complete SDLC.

 Well conversant with testing methodologies like Black Box Testing, Exploratory testing, System Testing, Regression testing & Smoke testing. Testing experience of Web-based applications as well as client server applications. Additional to have experience with Clarify AMDOCS and Load Runner. Reporting test results and test status independently. Ability to take ownership of assigned work. Strong communication skills, both in writing and oral.
