    Dr. Ornella Lincetto, works for the World Health Organization in Vietnam as the team leader of Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition. She is an Italian pediatrician, neonatologist and public health expert with over 20 years of experience in international health and maternal and child health programs having worked in South & East Asia, Africa and Europe. While having a special interest and expertise in neonatal care, she promotes a comprehensive approach to maternal and child health and nutrition, in line with the continuum of care concept and the principles of primary health care and health system development. She has contributed to the development of WHO guidelines and training materials on newborn care and infant feeding, published over 40 articles on maternal and newborn health, and facilitated workshops to on newborn care and young infant and child feeding in many countries. Ornella has been based in Viet Nam since 2009.
