Wild Animal Project Important Dates

Timed Addition Test
Thursday, May 2nd Students should have sent in their choice of wild animal for their project. If your child still has not turned in the top page with their 3 questions, please have them turn it in this week for partial credit.

Zoo Field Trip

We will be going to the zoo in May! All chaperones must complete the I-CHAT background check through the school. Please be sure to see the behavior expectations below in order for students to attend this trip.

Student Behavior Expectations

At this point in the year, we expect students to follow our Warrior Ways (Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe) on a daily basis. Therefore, students who receive three orange and/or red days between now and the date of the zoo field trip will not be allowed to attend without a chaperone. Please be sure to be checking & signing your childs behavior calendar every day. Students who receive a written referral will not be allowed to attend the trip at all.

Snack Calendar
Please check our snack calendar regularly to be sure not to miss your childs snack day. They are always so proud to bring in a snack for their friends.

High Frequency Words

Please practice our weekly high frequency words at home every day! These words can be very difficult for students to learn, but theyre very important because they are so common.

Missing Homework
Missing homework notifications were sent home last week. Please be sure to get these assignments in. If the packet has been misplaced, all past homework can be found on our class website listed at the top of the newsletter.
