One argument she uses in favor of technology is the easy accessibility. In todays world, people can connect with people in every corner of the earth. This capability can be used to hold teacher-student conferences in areas outside the classroom, such as when a teacher or student is sick or is excused from school. According to the Center for Applied Research in Education Technology, using video and photographical visuals in teaching students helps them in developing problem solving and critical thinking skills. Evanouski goes on to list more benefits of technology use in areas such as improvement in the learning abilities of the mentally challenged, racial minorities and lower income families.
