Writing your Goals

After thinking about the questions Why am I attending college? and


What do I hope to achieve? you may find it helpful to write some
specific goals each semester. This worksheet will show you how to do
that in 4 steps.

3.) Look at your Weekly Planner. After marking what


time you dont have available (classes, eating, sleeping,
homework etc.), see what time you do have available and
start considering which hopes you can realistically pursue
this semester/session.
4.) Write

specific goals

for this semester.

(Try to make them realistic and measurable).


Examples:
Prioritize doing something social on Friday evenings.
Work out 3x a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from
5-6pm.
On Saturdays, go with the YAHT club to St. Louis.
Prioritize my designated study time (from 6-8 Mon-Fri & 2-5
on Sat).
