Boiler Tube leakage arresting Boiler Mechanical Maintenance Engineer 1. Hand gloves 2. Mechanical tool box kit 3. Welding Set 4. Cutting Set 5. X-ray/DPT

Take the Confined Space Permit to enter inside the Boiler. Ensure that all the manholes of the Boiler are in open condition. Depressurized the line where tube failure. Thickness checking to be done on the failure tube area Marking the tube and cut it After cutting both end v-group to be done. Measurement to be done the length of tube. Replace the tube of same thickness and grade. Fit of the tube both end min 2mm gap. Both end welded by TIG welding. After complete the welding take curring time min 1hr. X-ray or DPT to be done after curring If repair found then attend it Then again X-Ray or DPT to be done. Box-up the all man holes Cancel PTW.

QUALITY: All the parameters, activities are maintained within prescribed limit. Any deviation from the norm is recorded and corrective action is taken accordingly. ENVIRONMENT: Not applicable. OHSAS: Ensure PPE, Helmet, adequate lighting near the work place. Ensure the lifting tools are in adequate condition. Ensure proper earthing of the equipment / area of work as the case may be.
