I have known Elena since June, 2010 when I began working for the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department at Jardel Recreation Center. I am currently employed with the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department as an Assistant Recreation Leader. I have been a member of this Department for 7 years. As an Assistant Recreation Leader, I had the opportunity to observe and to evaluate Elena in a variety of Department settings. Whether as a Lifeguard, Swim Coach or Swim Instructor, Elena demonstrated superior performance in all areas. In any of these positions, Elena was first-rate. Her combination of enthusiasm, preparedness and rapport with the public was always observable.
