Higher Diploma in Arts for Art & Design Teaching Course content involved three blocks of teaching practice, studio work and subjects such as psychology and sociology as well as the philosophical, methodological and historical contexts of art & design education. 2008-2012 Limerick School of Art & Design Honours BA Visual Communications Areas studied covered a wide range of graphic design for print, web and digital media: including corporate identity, animation, illustration, photography, web design, advertising and print production. 2002-2008 St. Marys Secondary School, Charleville, Co. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
11th Mar - 26th Apr 2013 5 week block Castletroy Community College, Limerick -Taught art at Junior and Senior cycle, including art history. Incorporated digital media into the second year scheme and outdoor observational drawing in the first year scheme. -Assisted at the fifth and sixth year art history trip to Dublin. -Observed a number of exam and ICT classes.

7th Jan - 1st Feb 2013 St. Clements Secondary School, Limerick 4 week block -Taught at Junior and Senior cycle, which included elements of digital media in the first year painting scheme. -Taught an intensive life drawing scheme to sixth years. -Assisted at the open/parents night. -Assisted with LCA and Junior Cert project work.

1st - 19th Oct -Taught at Junior and Senior cycle, covering development 4 week block education issues in the second year print scheme. -Team-taught first years on block rotation and was responsible for assessing the work and selecting students for art. -Assisted LCA project work.

WORK EXPERIENCE
2007-present Part-time Admin. Services Manager of Coaching and Development Partners Ltd. where my responsibilities include for logging hours and arranging appointments. May 2013 Superintendant for the State Examinations (Junior and Leaving Cert art practicals) in Castletroy College.

June 2010 Recruited as a Family Assistant Volunteer at the Special Olympics Ireland (S.O.I) games where I looked after the athletes and their families. Summer 2005-2007 Employed during the Charleville Agricultural Show as a Secretarial Steward where I was available for assisting other employees and the public with queries or issues.

SOFTWARE/ICT OTHER SKILLS/INTERESTS Highly proficient in -Official S.O.I volunteer.

Adobe Photoshop, -Member of local radio station, Ballyhoura Community Radio, Illustrator, InDesign, since it began the process of setting up in 2005. Microsoft Word and -Have worked on a variety of projects as a freelance Graphic Powerpoint as well as Designer, for start-up and established businesses, university photography. Working societies and publications. Researched issues of motivation and knowledge of Flash, confidence among young people as a personal project. After Effects and Exel. -Thoroughly enjoy reading, writing, photography and other creative pursuits. Have an active interest in Art Therapy and have written a BA thesis on this subject in which I conducted a case study of Bluebox Creative Learning Centre-a charity which provides art therapy to students in Primary and Post-Primary Schools across Limerick.
