KIPP NYC Washington Heights Academy Charter School Board of Trustees met on March 11, 2013 at Hunter College with the following trustees in attendance: David Massey, Joe Negron, Dawn Palo, Brian Zied, and Carrie Gennuso. Also present were Larry Robbins, Deborah Dauman, David Levin, Joseph Reece, Amy Griffin, Dwight Scott, Whitney Tilson, Lisa Blau, Frank Corcoran, Thomas Lehrman, Jacqueline Adams, Girish Bhakoo, Andrew Paul, Josh Zoia, Jack Chorowsky, Kerry Mullins, Derek Smith, Alicia Johnson, Orpheus Williams, Charizma Williams, and Vicki Zubovic. Opening of Meeting The board voted unanimously to run the meeting concurrently with the meetings of the Boards of KIPP Academy, KIPP STAR, KIPP Infinity, KIPP AMP, and the Joint High School Committee due to the commonality of issues. Board Business The board opened the meeting to public comments. There were no comments. Josh Zoia, Superintendent, reviewed long-term finances. He discussed the budget, fundraising scenarios, and proposed new investments for Fiscal Year 2013-14. The board voted to approve the minutes of its January 28, 2013 meeting. The board voted on new staff assignments for both Q2 and Q3. The board voted unanimously to move to Executive Session to discuss confidential matters. Adjournment The meeting adjourned.
