What is a prayer for Christian?

For the Christian, love of God is the true motive that leads him to pray. Fear, hatred of his enemies, selfishness, love to show, find no place in his thinking. Prayer is inborn in man, a part of his nature. Prayer is the highest exercise of the soul. Christians come closest to God in his daily devotions, as his prayers ascend with sweet incense of Christs righteous to the throne of the almighty.

What gives prayer a power?

It is not the words we utter during prayer, nor how we say them, or even for how long we pray. Instead the power of prayer comes from how much belief we can pack into the act of praying. Belief and faith play the role in the process of answered prayer. Without these, our prayers will rarely, if ever at all, be answered according to our desires.

What's the purpose of a prayer?

One purpose of a prayer is to allow you to respond to Gods love in this way. Prayer is a powerful connector that allows love to enter you as it comes to you directly to God, especially when you focus his love through your own self in this way. Prayer simply reconnects you to the part of God that you are within him. This is the true purpose of prayer.

How to get an answered prayer?

The answer lies in the prayer by itself. The first thing you need to do is believe in the one who created it. The next step is to be specific about what you are praying for. The third is the faith you put behind it.
