STORAGE BUILDING FOR INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT COMPANY

With 94 sites and warehouse space totalling almost 2,000,000m plus a further 1,500,000m of cold storage facilities, the company has a national fleet of over 1000 trucks. Expansion at the companys Telford depot, which services Shropshire and the

Midlands, has necessitated the addition of further storage space to house electronic motorway signage on behalf of the Highways Agency. A temporary warehouse has been leased by Spaciotempo UK Ltd, one of the UKs leading suppliers of temporary structures. The building is 1,350m and comprises two gutterlinked buildings; the second of which is reduced slightly along one aspect to accommodate their existing building.

The temporary structure provides separate access for vehicles and pedestrians, a key health and safety criteria in a busy loading and unloading environment. Steel cladding walls, thermo roof and gables, lighting and guttering were also installed by the Spaciotempo team as part of the final specification. Scott Jameson, Director of Sales at Spaciotempo, was particularly pleased to have supplied the building. The initial conversation with Norbert Dentressangle took place at the IMHX show last year and was one of several enquiries taken on the stand. They are market leaders in their sector so we are proud to assist them in managing their space in a flexible manner.

General Manager of Norbert Dentressangle Logistics UK, Robin Smith, is based at Stafford Park 10 in Telford where the building was erected. He is delighted to have found a solution that serves the companys purpose for the short to medium term, but one that can be easily extended if required.
