Installing PSpice:

1. The installation files for PSpice can be found at http://www.electronics-lab.com/downloads/schematic/013/ . Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you see a link to download it.

Click on the link. Download the file to a folder, say your Desktop. It is a 27.2 MB file. 2. Create a folder called PSpice on your Desktop. You will extract the installation files to this folder. In order to extract the files, you will need to install Winzip. An evaluation version is available for download at www.winzip.com . 3. After you have installed Winzip, double click on the PSpice installation file. You may see the following window. Hit on Run.

4. When you hit on Run, you will see the following window. Put in the path for the folder PSpice and click on Unzip.

5. You will see the extraction process and see the following window.

6. Hit Ok and close in the previous window. 7. Go to the folder where you have the extracted files. You will see a Setup file. Double click on that.

8. Hit OK on the next two screens that asks you to turn off the Anti-virus software(not advisable), and if you have control over the Administrative setting.

9. You will then see this window. It installs Capture by default. But we need the Schematics. So select that option and click Next.

10. You will then key in the path, which by default is C:\Program Files\PSpice. Change it if you want to.

11. After that, navigate through the installation process, as youd do with other programs. After the installation is complete, you should be ready to start using Schematics on your computer. This installation is for a Windows XP operating system. It should be almost the same for a Windows Vista system too.
