The facts supporting this belief are as follows: Defendant shot a handgun into a crowd of people, hitting six people. Defendant shot D.W. (15 years old) in the leg. Defendant shot S.W. (34 years old) in the thigh as she held her four year old daughter. Defendant shot D.W. (13 years old) in the left leg. Defendant shot M.W. (17 years old) in the buttocks. Defendant shot L.M. (14 years old) in the arm. Defendant shot K.B. (22 years old) in the foot. The victims, many of which are related, were gathered in the front yard of a relatives apartment building at the time of the shooting. Defendant shot into the building at 47XX Highland multiple times.
