Cervical ectropion. The cervical transformation zone in a woman on oral contraceptives. Note the prominent eversion of endocervical cells covering more than one half of the portio vaginalis.

Positive Chadwick sign. Note the bluish hue of the pregnant cervix.

Mucopurulent cervicitis.

Single cervical polyp.

Cervical endometriosis in a menstruating woman. Note the red papules on the portio vaginalis which contain blood and endometrial tissue.

Nabothian cyst. The forcep is pointed to the raised, round cyst which is yellow-white in color. Note the distinct capillaries branching over the surface of the cyst.

Invasive squamous cell carcinoma. Note the abnormal vasculature and hemorrhage on the posterior cervical lip.
