    This Desert Ive seen this desert Myself I hoped to be buried by it Lost among blistering sand Tied down

    by flaming winds Surrendering to the elements Greater than anything discovered by man To my amazement Every step toward its beaches I am lost Grass, roots, trees and essence Appear as if on cue Yesterday I arrived at its edge But no more was it desolate Puzzled, nothing was said by me But something spiritually higher Screamed in hopes Id listen This wasnt you, but was meant to be I am, I was and always will be Understand that and so shall you Just dont wonder why it happened to you
