20th June 2013 Andy Couldrick The Chief Executive Wokingham Borough Council Shute End Wokingham Berks

Dear Mr Couldrick On behalf of the Arborfield Garrison Residents Action Group (AG-RAG) we are writing to formally asked Wokingham Borough Council what it intends to do about the threat from an un-known individual to disrupt the consultation process for Planning Application O/2013/0600. We would also like know what the Council will be doing to verify the letters and emails received concerning this application? Our concern stems from the fact Leeds Council had, in 2009, over 600 letters supporting the building of super-store, some of which were later found to be from bogus residents. Our group, and the hundreds of residents we represent who have spent time and energy responding to this application, need to be re-assured the Council is taking this threat seriously. In addition, we would like the Council to confirm it will be doing everything it can to make sure all comments are dealt with fairly and transparently ensuring the democratic consultation process is up-held. Yours sincerely,
