Our Answer : Page 1 2) We are using the MHW ( Mixed Hard Wood ) for timber batten, therefore, the hard wood might appear some 'crack' after nailed. ( Soft wood cannot be used for roof truss which will not occur 'crack' line) Timber batten occurred something alike 'Fungus' which is chemical of anti termite treatment, might appear on timber depend on the timber condition. 3) The 'Plat Zink' mentioned on the letter which we call 'Nail Plate', this is the technology using for prefabrication roof truss system. This kind of technology have been used over 30 years in world wide construction industry. The conventional roof truss method (bolt & nut) already phased out for long time ago. The 3.2mm thk 2' x 4' ceiling board is designed by manufacturer's qualified engineers and approved by authorities department which sufficient strength for install by 2' or 4' wide.

Page 2 2) The timber batten were installed according the approved drawing which designed by qualified Architect & Engineer. We are using selected quality Mixed Hard Wood for roof truss, according our own experience in construction industry over the years, the durability of timber at least 50 years and above. This is not 'crack line' occur on the rafter timber, might be wood grain. However, we will replace or add another timber instead if we find any timber quality not in order before we handing over the house to purchaser during our final checking.
