Passionate and dedicated educator seeking a position in molding our youngest learners by facilitating student learning in various areas. Skills/Achievements/Leadership Positions
Teacher of Promise (2010-2011): My first year of teaching, I was given the award of most promising novice teacher of my campus. Leader of the Technology Committee (2012-Present): Some of my responsibilities as the leader of the technology committee included: maintaining the school website, distributing, collecting and taking inventory of all technology on our campus (such as: ipads, touch screen computers, livescribe pens, portable innovation stations), and maintenance of general technology issues that arise. My team was also responsible for organizing a Fun Run for our campus to raise money to get a digital microscope into every classroom as well as, organizing a technology contest to motivate our teachers to use the technology they readily accessible on a daily basis. Conducted various professional developments for my campus and school district (2012Present): I cooperated with various teachers to conduct various training for both my campus and school district. Some of those training topics included: The importance of block play in Pre-K, exploring the world of Insects, gardening with Pre-K and the importance of bilingual pairs in the classroom. Presented at the Adelante! Conference in Austin (2013): I cooperated with another teacher to present the importance and uses of bilingual pairs in the classroom.
