Georgia Highlands College

Welcome to GHC
Studies show that a college degree will take you further than ever before youll earn more and enjoy a better quality of life. And of course, a college education is an essential building block to a successful career in todays job market. At Georgia Highlands College, were proud to provide access to flexible course offerings at affordable prices so that you can meet your academic and career goals. For example, working adults who are interested in entering GHCs nursing program, can take the prerequisites for entry in five-, six- or eight-week increments at night, staying in the same cohort of 20 students from beginning to end. Now that Georgia Highlands has become a state college we can begin offering select baccalaureate degrees to meet the needs of the communities we serve. The first of these, a Bachelor of Science in nursing, enrolls its first students in fall 2013. We now offer a wide array of online classes, too, to fit your busy schedule. If youre enrolled at another institution and home for the summer, why not take a few core classes to accelerate your path to a baccalaureate degree? As part of the University System of Georgia, we make transferring to other institutions practically seamless.
