NETIZENS The rise of the World Wide Web brought the upsurge of a new trend.

Active users involved in online communities and a user of the Internet, especially an avid one have labelled themselves as the Netizens- a combination of the English words Internet and citizen. Netizens make it a point to be helpful and friendly if they feel it to be worthwhile. Many Netizens feel they have an obligation to be helpful and answer queries and follow up on discussions to put their opinion into the pot of opinions (www.columbia.edu) Over the past years, two general uses of the terms Netizens have developed. The first is a broad use to refer to anyone who uses the net, for whatever purpose.
