Fasttrax Logistics Ltd.
 Delivering front-line Heavy Lift Transporter (HET) capability in convoy (peacetime and in war).
 A contract was let in Dec 2001 to replace the British Army’s Heavy Lift Transporter (HET) whose role is
to move battle tanks and other items of heavy equipment.
 A key feature of the contract is the use of Sponsored Reservists (SRs) who make up one third of the
manpower required to operate and maintain the vehicles (the remainder being Service personnel). SRs
are civilians with a liability to become uniformed Service personnel when operational needs dictate,
and who are required to meet military competence standards.
 Also employed locally with “Best Connections” a sister company of “Fasttrax” when not operational.
 Ran Military Convoys in Southern Iraq and Kuwait.

Team Leadership as Convoy Section Commander with experience gained in


company transport, logistics, supply and re-supply, road worthiness and road
movements, loading, health and safety, security. Experience gained within
Motor Transport administration, workshops and fleet maintenance,
organising office, workshops, drivers, traffic control and stores.
Over 20 years driving experience including LGV and VIP (Staff Car) and convoy
driving, deploying into remote areas requires extra training in survival, first aid and artic survival.
Gained valuable off road experience in Land Rovers and tracked vehicles.
