II. Objectives: To correct management of the labor force To have potential workers To control direct labor costs effectively To prevent the workers to form a union To change the manner of computing the overtime pay To have a big output of work

III. Alternative Courses of Actions 1. To have a good selection process of employees Advantage/s: Provides the company potential workers Paternalistic management would be minimized and higher positions are being looked up to Better output and good production to meet demands Disadvantage/s: Current workers may not agree because they may think that they are not capable of doing their assigned jobs Time consuming

Some workers may take it the wrong way especially if their family members are not hired

To implement piecework and set quota Advantage/s: Pay would be based on the number of products the workers produce Workers would reach their quota The company production can cope with their demands Workers are encouraged to increase output for better pay Disadvantage/s: Workers may not agree with the implementation Some workers may just reach their quota and are not motivated to increase output

IV. Recommendation It is recommended that the company should take the action of motivating the workers by giving incentives and rewards. With these, it will help solve the problem or the issue on improving the companys labor force. V. Conclusion Through following these recommendation, the mentioned objectives would be achieved. In these manner, the Top Star Bakery will become more productive and successful in the future. The company may be able to cope with their changing environment that may occur. They would also solve their company problems to be better and cope with their demands.
