Healthy Banana Cookies

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas 2 cups rolled oats 1 cup almonds, chopped 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions 1. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Stir in oats, almonds, oil, and vanilla. Mix well, and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 3. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly brown.

Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients

125g of softened butter/ (stick butter) cup white sugar cup brown sugar 1 egg, beaten 1 cups of Self Raising Flour 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions 4. 5. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Add the softened butter, white sugar and brown sugar with vanilla in a large mixing bowl and mix until smooth. 6. Beat 1 egg and add slowly while mixing. 7. Mix in well the flour, continue to mix well to remove lumps. 8. Add 250g of Chocolate Chips and mix to combine. 9. Allow to sit for 15 minutes. 10. Remove by teaspoonfuls and roll into a ball. 11. Place balls (adequately spaced out) onto a baking sheet with grease paper lining it. 12. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly brown.

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease or line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl cream the shortening and the sugar together. Beat in the eggs, vanilla and lemon extract. Beat in the bananas and the nuts. Gradually add the flour, baking powder and salt. Drop the dough by spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly colored. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
