Kozol Study Questions 1. People perceive homeless to be burdens on society. They view them as an eyesore in many popular places since they take up space. 2. Government officials arent taking appropriate measures to provide the homeless with adequate shelter. Harsh weather conditions are severely affecting the homeless and the government wont bat an eye. The general public doesnt want to see or do anything involving the homeless. 3. We are afraid of these children growing up in a state of homelessness that they couldnt get out of. 4. The case where the man was crushed in a trash compactor was very moving. The man just wanted somewhere to sleep but he was unknowingly killed.
