Forms 6i & Reports

6i Installation
• Insert the CD(Developer CD) in the CD ROM drive
• Open My Computer and double click on CD drive. The
contents of the CD will be look like:

• Double click on the folder “Dev_6i” and run the “ Setup ”

file (which reside on that folder ).
• The screen prompt you for the company name, home name &
the location (where you want to install DEVELOPER).

Change

• The changed screen will be

NOTE:
You must “CHANGE” the Name of the HOME and the LOCATION.
• The next screen prompt you for installation option.

Default selected

First option installs “ Forms Developer ”

Seconds option installs “ Forms Server ”
Third option installs “ Reports Developer ”
Fourth option installs “ Reports Server ”
Step 5
• In the next screen you should specify the installation
type.

TYPICAL installs everything .

CUSTOM installs user define options.

• In the next two screen’s you just press “ OK ”.

• The copying process will starts & after completing the copy
the “ installation successful ” screen arises.
