Advanced Home Nursing Course 2009

For Cadet Assessment

 Assessment Criteria:

1. Theory Paper (60 min)

2. Practical Assessment (10 min)

3. Health Presentation (20 min)

 Assessee will need to pass the theory paper for the Nursing Instructor Course (at least 50%)

 Assessee will need to complete 2 advanced nursing skills for the practical assessment

 Assessee will need to pass the health presentation (at least 50%)

 After completion, Assesses will be awarded a Advanced Home Nursing Certificate

Course Program Outline

First of all, the Zone 6 Nursing Board welcomes your participation in Advanced Home Nursing Course
in May/Jun 2009. As this course is partly conducted by external lecturers who are professional nurses,
you and your cadets can expect to receive updated and will-informed instructions on advanced nursing
skills from experienced professionals. The details on the course are as followed:

Date: 23 May, 30 May & 6 June 2009

Venue: NHQ at Beach Road
Time: 0830hrs to 1700hrs
Purpose: Acquire home nursing skills at an advanced level
Attire: School T-shirt and jeans/pants.
Materials to bring: Course notes (Available on 1st day of course) and money for lunch etc
Admission requirement: Possess basic home nursing certificate
