Lab Report Instructions

Introduction to ASIC Design

Instructor: MUHAMMAD ALI RAZA ANJUM

The purpose of lab reports is to document what the student learned during the lab. Together with handouts and personal notes during lectures, lab reports provide the documentation of the complete course. Furthermore lab reports will be checked and are supposed to serve as proof that the lab was done and understood. The lab report consists of the following: Lab report cover sheet. Copy of the instructions provided. Listing of all source files written during the lab, where necessary, comments need to be inserted. All relevant results (simulation results, synthesis results ...) - don't copy e.g. the complete synthesis report, when only a few lines are relevant for our lab Interpretation of the results in your own words. Conclusions - what did you learn in this lab, or any other relevant comments.
