Dynamic English Language Arts teacher passionate about making the learning experience a positive one for all students. Works to improve school-wide climate so that all students can learn course materials, as well as the social skills they need to thrive in all aspects of their lives. Developed units on: The Middle Ages: focused on Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales. Also incorporated non-fiction texts such as Martin Luther's "95 Theses" and Andreas Capellanus' The Art of Courtly Love to meet upcoming Common Core Standards.
