The Volume of a PYRAMID is
(1/3) that of a PRISM !
Volume of Pyramid =
(area of base)(h)(1/3)
Same thing for Cone:
Volume of Cone = (1/3) Volume of Cylinder

= (πr2)(h)(1/3)
• Remember: the HEIGHT is the
measurement that is PERPENDICULAR
to the base!
