The most important rule in our classroom is respect. Your classmates and I will listen to what you have to say and respect your individuality, thoughts, and expressions. When you are speaking, you will have our complete attention. Similarly, we will expect the same courtesy and consideration from you. Much of our class time will involve classroom discussions and critique; therefore, you must respect the rights, opinions, and beliefs of your classmates, even if you do not agree with them. Feedback to peers should always be constructive (helpful) not hurtful.
5. Use all equipment and materials respectfully and safely as taught. All students who use art facilities are responsible for maintaining & completely cleaning them daily. If you dont know what youre doing, dont do it, but find out. Mistakes in this class may hurt you and could be costly.
6. There will be No gum, food or beverages allowed in art class, water being the exception. 7. Headphones are permitted in the classroom when I give you the ok ONLY after our introduction. 8. Art materials can stain or damage clothing. Some smocks will be available. Where one!
9. The arts need our wholeness, body and soul-not perfect, but authentic. Be fair to your inner critic.
