Notice of Night Construction

ATTENTION RESIDENTS IN THE VICINITY OF
THE I-405 SEPULVEDA PASS WIDENING PROJECT
As part of the pre-construction activities for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project, the
Contractor will survey the physical surroundings of the San Diego Freeway (I-405). This activity
requires the use of sound waves to generate a 3D model of the physical structure of the I-405.
Images of other items, such as people, cars, and homes will not be saved or used as part of the
final model.
What: Survey of the San Diego Freeway (I-405)
When: Work is anticipated to start on Saturday, June 6, 2009 through Monday, June 8, 2009.
Where: San Diego Freeway (I-405), between the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) and the
Ventura Freeway (U.S. 101).
Saturday, June 6, 2009: Northbound and Southbound I-405 from Venice Blvd. to
Moraga Dr., between the hours of 4:00a.m. and 8:00a.m.
Sunday, June 7, 2009: Northbound and Southbound I-405 from Sepulveda Blvd.
undercrossing to Burbank Blvd., between the hours of 4:00a.m. and 8:00a.m.
Monday, June 8, 2009: Northbound I-405 from Wilshire Blvd. to Skirball Center Dr.,
between the hours of 2:00a.m. and 5:00a.m.
What to Expect:
• Intermittent moving lane closures for northbound and southbound I-405 traffic.
• Anticipate slow moving traffic.
• Arrow board will re-direct vehicular traffic.
• CHP vehicles will accompany the Survey Crew.
• Camera will be mounted on a moving vehicle.
• Access to all on-and-off freeway ramps will be maintained.
• Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
