    Anchor Stranded Cotton, one skein of each colour (see Key), worked with 3 strands Other materials: 14 cm x 12 cm beige evenweave cotton fabric (112 threads/10 cm) black card sheets of white paper for the addresses clear acetate film for cover (available from a copy shop)

    Instructions
    Embroider the chestnut motif centrally in cross stitch over 2 x 2 fabric threads, then work the green cross stitch border around it. Cut two rectangles each 15 cm x 13 cm from black card. Cut a window 8 cm x 6.5 cm from the centre of one of them. Glue the embroidery behind the window, then glue the second piece of card to the back of the embroidery. Now cut the clear film and the white paper to the same size and have them ring-bound at a copy shop.
