Expectations
Active participation and a positive attitude. Complete Assignments and Homework on time Study for tests/quizzes Ask for Help Follow class rules

Recommended Supplies
3 ring binder with paper and a section for science Pencils/pens Simple calculator Planner Colors (markers, crayons, or colored pencils) Scissors Glue or tape

Homework
20 minutes nightly Study vocabulary and concepts Work on practice assignments Expected to earn 30 practice points per chapter Due the day before the chapter test Posted on board for students to copy into their planner Posted on Instagram (room308)

Grading
Students will be graded on their performance on assessments, projects, labs and practice work Grading Scale 90-100 A 80-89 B 70-79 C 60-69 D <60 F Grades online are updated regularly

Pinnacle
Assessment = 90% Practice = 10% (used to calculate work habits grade) Citizenship = 0% (used to calculate citizenship grade) Z assignment not turned in Blank assignment not graded yet Comments!

Intervention
DEAR period will be utilized for student intervention Tues-Friday This allows me to pull students in for one on one or small group instruction and provide additional assistance Students can also ask for a DEAR pass if they feel they need more help
