Training is an art or process of enhancing skills in employees. It bridges the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge. Training is about knowing where you stand at present, and where you will be after some point of time. Training leads to development.

Relevance of Training
Higher productivity:

Productivity is nothing but efficiency(inputoutput ratio) Trained people: input less output more Untrained people: input more output less Trained people do not work hard but work smart

Less supervision
Trained people require less supervision. Supervision is time consuming.

Economic operations
Trained people do less wastage so, training makes your operations economical. Operations became economically viable. If there are so many untrained people in your organization there are no benefits because number does not matters but quality matters.

Higher morale

Morale is mental health of organization Training helps in improving the morale of the work force. Training develops, I can do attitude.

Better human relations between management and workers


Training helps in maintaining good relationship between management and workers. Training helps to develop and improve the organizational health, culture and effectiveness and thus maintaining good relationships. If relations are not good if there is wrong training or no training.

Reduce learning time


Trained people take less time to learn. They learn quickly and do not resist to new things. Training is time consuming but then after training learning is less time consuming.

Helpful in decision making, handling conflict & stress


Organization gets more effective decision making and problem solving. Conflict and stress cannot be avoided or removed but you should know how to handle it. Training helps in handling conflict Stress can be managed by trained people.
