Text Responses Question: Comments about course as a whole: The course was interesting and relevant professionally. I learned some new ways to utilize technology in my classroom and had the opportunity to practice. Most importantly I made some invaluable professional connections. The information presented and discussed will have an immediate impact on my classroom Question: Comments about teacher effectiveness: Dr. Nordstrom is very engaging and clearly passionate concerning her subject matter. Dr. Nordstrom not only presented the class material, she also spent some time going over portfolio expectations and helped us understand the requirements of the portfolio. This was very helpful as it had not been explained very well in other classes. She was an excellent teacher in all aspects. Question: Comments about interpersonal relationships: Dr. Nordstrom was even willing to give me tips concerning my portfolio after class. She was very personable and made everyone feel a part of all activities and discussions. The teacher gave advice for other concerns about the graduate program, e.g. LiveText portfolio. Question: Comments about evaluation methods: Dr. Nordstrom had very clear assignments that were interesting to work on. She provided videos and articles that made discussions easy to approach and more fun to engage in. I appreciated the comments given with the papers assigned. Question: Comments about classrom facilities: Lipscomb is a nice facility.
