History
The Legal Group handles all of the legal work of the Bank, including
Visiting managing the Bank's involvement in litigation, conducting
Holiday Schedule transactions and formulating general policy, participating in
negotiations, and drafting and reviewing documents, contracts, and
Frequently Asked correspondence. Its business is divided between the following areas:

Publications regulation and supervision, capital markets, and the
developing law of domestic and international payments.

Enforcement, Litigation, Protection, Investigations and

o Handles all litigation in which the Bank has an interest,


o Pursues regulatory enforcement investigations and formal
actions
n Supports the corporate activities of the Bank.
a Oversees the force of armed protection officers that ensures
the physical security of the Bank's property and employees.

Financial Services and Automation

a Represents the Bank in its financial activities, including the


electronic transfers of funds and securities, the collection of
checks, and the processing of automated clearing house
items.
n Supports the Bank's account relationships with foreign
central banks and international financial organizations.
D Handles contract and procurement matters for the entire
Bank,

Corporate Secretary's Office

o The primary mission of the Corporate Secretary's Office is to


support and act as a liaison to the Bank's Board of Directors,
President, First Vice President, and Management Committee,
as well as various Federal Reserve System standing
conferences and committees. The office also handles
internal communications, records management and
archives.
