Summary: The results of pushover analysis indicated that the performance of the clinic building is satisfactory globally under BNBC-1993 spectral acceleration. To evaluate the performance soil type S2 and Zone 2 of BNBC-1993 is considered here. The performance point base shear is 2375 kN and roof displacement is 45mm as per ATC-40. The performance point base shear is 2524 kN and roof displacement is 50mm as per FEMA-356. However from the hinge formation (Figure-3) at different element indicates some retrofitting works required at the lower end of bottom storey column.
